i took my bp out of is viv for a check because he's fasting, and I notice he whistles a bit (slight wheeze), is this normal for him fasting or something else

I'm not a snake person but I know that when the snake people come along they are going to know when the snake last ate, shed and defecated plus what size cage it is in, the substrate, the temps, and if it has been to a vet before.

Is it a wheeze or a whistle?
Is the snake breathing with its mouth open?
Is their any discharge?

it could be a few different things... Has your snake recently sheded? Sometimes when a snake sheds a piece of shed can cover their notrils, and cause a whistle sound. Also if your humidity isn't just right it could be a Upper Respitory Infection.. What are your temps and hows the humidity? Im not sure that the fasting would have anything to do with it, but don't take my word on it. I know my python had a little whistling sound when breathing, but he currently was shedding and went away when he finished shedding. Im still new to the herp world myself, so i'd wait till someone like Rich who has more knowledge has a look at this thread... A few things your gonna be asked by others is what size is the snakes enclosure, what substrate do you use, whats your temps, and what is your humidity level at?

he's not eaten or sheddded for over 2 month now, however my viv temps are 26c cool side and 30c basking side my hygrometer is showing 58% humidity,

Fasting will have no effect on the snake's breathing. I would lean more in the direction of either shed in the nostrils or a RI.
Open the snakes mouth and look to see if there appears to be an excess of mucus.
Does it sound like whistling or is it a gurgling bubbling type of noise?
