Re: Is a Little Shaking Normal?

I hope everything works out for you. Dont get discouraged, most of the times pet stores sell sick reptiles, simply because they dont know what they are doing. I actually met a women in petsmart who knows a lot and owns a lot of different reptiles herself, so it was nice not having to tell the employes what to do for a change haha.

Re: Is a Little Shaking Normal?

A little follow up on the Shaking. I didn't have the heart to return Cocoa. But after reading some more online material, I came across some that mentioned slight tremors in what was called the spider morphs. I watched her for a while over a few days and there did not seem to be much more of it going on. She's eating quite activly one fuzzy twice a week, getting much more acceptable of her surroundings and venturing out more. Her favorite position is still to hang out in her cave with her head sticking out to see whats going on. She even comes out and roams around a few times most days. I've had her almost 2 months now. Still not sure why the shaking initially but She seems to be fine now. She is just sooooo cool I couldn't take her back and start all over. Now I'm glad I stuck with her. I take her out for about 1/2 hour a day. She nevers balls up, rarely coils her head back unless startled and seems to be just exploring. (Still just assuming it's a she!!)

Re: Is a Little Shaking Normal?

I'm so glad to hear she's doing well! She sounds like a wonderful snake, and I'm sure she'll get even more comfortable in her new home over time. Please keep us updated!
