This is what our member has to say: i let my ball pyton swim in my bath tub,does anyone else do this or know if its good for them.i mainly do it because ...

Swimming

i let my ball pyton swim in my bath tub,does anyone else do this or know if its good for them.i mainly do it because they look really cool swimming around

I try to give my boas a bath once a week. just make sure you disenfect the tub when your done

Yes and make sure the water isn't too warm. It should feel about neutral temperature when you put your hand in it.
And since they frequently let loose when in the tub be sure and clean and disinfect it before human use!

When we first got the big girl,we had no choice.Her tank was that bad.She seemed to like it ,but then didnt eat for 2 weeks.Then I found out that the man who owned her before used to hold her under the water. So we havent tryed that again.Im so happy we saved the big girl.She is still a little jumpy but she is coming around.

Yeah me too.I was told I had to pay 75 bucks for this beautiful boa. i got there and was like shes a nice BP and looked at her tank and saw a desk light for heat . and said we will save her grabbed her and walked out and didnt pay I went right to my herp shop and spent the money on her thermostate and Under Tank Heater. She was in ruff state when I got her her skin was hard and crunchy she is so heathy now we love her
