We will be getting our new ball python next week. He is 4 feet long and they call him King. We are very excited. They were babysitting for him 3 years ago while owner went away. The owner never came back. They have decided 3 years was long enough.

babysitting for three years, lol! I am glad it was not a child they dropped off,, they tend to be a bit more spendy than the snake.

Has me thinking though,,,hmmm I wonder if I can drop off Oscar to be babysat and wait three years to get him lol

I have sucker tattood on my forehead

It's not a new thing for us, my brother dropped his dog off temporarily, it ended up being 3 years, they came back and got him. Didn't pay for any of the food or vet bills during that time. My girls had become extremely attached as they were much younger then. The dog was a Sheltie, so they would dress him up, put him in laundry baskets, and carry him around. They also left their cat for 5 years, although him they did not take back, they wanted to but I told them no, we had ended up with him because their girls were allergic. The Sheltie ended up being put down within 2 years, they would not keep him on the diet our vet had come up with for him. My foster son's dog stayed here for a year when they first came back from the army, his cats stayed longer. We try. My Mom always tells me to quit being such a sucker! I tell her I got it from her Dad!

Man some people. I wish someone would ask me to baby sit and leave it with me for a year. i would be like cool.Anyone need a sitter lol
