Re: Snake got out Help!!!!!
my daughters baby bp took off in my bedroom when she fell asleep one day. She panicked a lot. We found him under my bed in the dark just hanging out. Good luck!

Re: Snake got out Help!!!!!
Something my corn did when it got out one time is is climbed up into our closet and was hiding in the sleeve of a sweater so just because you look in the closest check everything that is hanging up too.
Something to try because your snake is likely somewhere near where you fed it try cutting a hole in a shoebox or so. Something that will be dark inside and put a heat sock in it. It is something they use at the vets office my girlfriend works at but what it is, is they take a tube sock (doesnt necessarily need to be a tube sock but they are longer) and they fill it with rice and they heat it up in the microwave, they hold warmth for a long time so if you set it up before you go to bed it may very well work and you find your snake in the morning.
I am not sure how long they normally heat them up for so I will get back to you with that amount of time shortly

Re: Snake got out Help!!!!!
I had my bp out on the floor in the living room one day just watching tv and I fell asleep with it in my hand for like 3 or 4 minutes and woke up freaking out. I looked around for a few minutes and thought to myself, what is the most random place that I would have just overlooked thinking no way... Well I checked our entertainment center where I stack my ps2 games in one of the cubbie holes for a vcr, dvd, ect and it was curled up behind the games in the corner. Setting up a dark heated box or something is a great idea. I would also check areas where things are cluttered. Do what I did, just sit down and think of all the places you would think there is no way they would hide and you might be suprised haha.

Re: Snake got out Help!!!!!
I had a corn snake that got out and he was hiding in our baseboard heaters for like a week I thought he was gone and then one morning I just happened to look at the heater and there he was.

Re: Snake got out Help!!!!!
Ok time to confess.... we were blessed with watching the school ball for the summer. She escaped and we looked everywhere. I was about ready to call the teacher and tell him that she escaped and about 3 in the morning my husband jumps out of bed, starts yelling is that her (you must realize I'm blind without my glasses) like I could see her. It ended up that it was the ball; she had climbed up some framing we use during the winter for plastic over the windows.
Our longest escaped snake was about 9 months and she was found this summer. Once you think all is lost they show up. So I guess the moral to this story is don't give up!
