OK, First of all, You should invest in an electronic timer system for all your bulbs. This will eliminate one bulb or Under Tank Heater from being on too long. I have one that has 2 daytime outlets, 2 night time outlets, and 4 allways on outlets. It cost me about $30.00.
I use this 1 timer for 2 tanks. My BP and my Savannah Monitor.
At least this will remove any human error as far as heating goes.

She wasn't accidentally dropped or anything at some point while you were gone possibly? My boa was quite tempermental at first because he had been dropped after biting someone and had a rough landing. If so it may take a little to adjust to handling again. Injury or illness would be my only other suggestions. Good luck!

Lynn, "Perhaps something has spooked her??? Do you have a cat or dog....or maybe just the smell of someone different watching over her caused the problem...."

- Cats/Dogs are probably not the case or else the other snakes would likely be exhibiting similar behaviour (if they are housed in the same general area of course). The way she's describing it would likely suggest something else is causing the hyper-aggressiveness.

OG_, "OK, First of all, You should invest in an electronic timer system for all your bulbs. This will eliminate one bulb or Under Tank Heater from being on too long. I have one that has 2 daytime outlets, 2 night time outlets, and 4 allways on outlets. It cost me about $30.00.

-Good points. You should invest in some timers; it'll make things a heck of a lot easier on you.

Re: Urgent help requested! I'm worried about my sn

not to make it seem of no importance but is it possible she is just cranky...

My girlfriend brought her ball python to my house for a couple of days becuase they had an ant infestation because their yard flooded and she was worried about them getting in the tank
Reasons unknown the snake decided she was going to go crazy and everytime anyone passed the tank or stuck their hand in the tank she would strike at the hand or glass and was very aggressive... Jess (my girlfriend) was worried she wasnt being held enough... decided to tough it out and like 2 months later she finally chilled out

This was about a year ago and no problems since

Just a thought
