ball python finally ate

my ball python finally ate. she ate the past two weeks they were the first since august when I got her... she has been battleing a RI for about two months mainly september and october.. she has been cured since then and now finally eating. accually I was kinda shocked when she did eat... like any other time I took her out of the cage and put her in the feeding tank and placed a mouse in... and walked away in about a half an hour my buddy got up to leave and said that she was eating.. i was very happy

Are you saying that you put a live mouse in with the snake and left it there?

no it was a dead one thats why I wasn't worried.. about leaveing her alone.. that all I need is for her to get bit and not get near another mouse again...

I can understand what you are going through, our adult common that we adopted had a URI when we got her. She finally ate last weekend. Down to 3 more shots!
