Our adventures this past weekend!!!
It was so much fun!
Friday we did the charity rally. Its not a race. Your pace notes have speed limits. The idea is to get to the checkpoint the most accurate for the speed limit and distance. We registered for novice class since we never did it before. Our main goal was to not get lost. Little did we know we tied for first! Friday night we met up with the subaru guys and the Bel Air Subaru Club (BASC) rally car. Well, its not THEIR car, but the guy who owns/drives it is in the club. Saturday we cheered them on. We found a super great bar to eat dinner and have some beers (there was a stout called bullfrog, of course it was good) and then it was off to the night rally. Unfortunatly, the last stage was cancelled due to a few factors. Big bummer, so we went back to the airport, which was the staging area, to wait for Josh to return. And we waited. And waited. We found out the only other person in his class was a DNF. Hooray, he got first! But where is he? Come to find out from one of the last drivers in, that he flipped his car and was currently upside down, with 2 miles left till the finish. He was finally towed back by a fellow competitor at about 2:30am. So other than being super tired, and really damp because it rained every day, we had a blast and will do it again. Have some photos! Todd and I waiting for the charity rally to begin ![]() BASC car before ![]() Josh on the course ![]() BASC car after ![]() By the way, its toast. Only one panel was damage free. The engine locked up and the axle is bent. ![]() Josh wondering if he can get it back to running in a month ![]()

Re: Our adventures this past weekend!!!
Sounds like a great time... except for the rollover! None of your links are working.
