I have been hooked on Janet Evanovich lately. Really a funny read and the last 100 pages are never able to be put down.

My hubby likes Grisham.

And I have a huge collection of children's books since that was my major in college. Did you know that Shel Silverstien not only made children's poetry and illustrations, but drew for Playboy?

I usually read Dean Koontz, Harlin Cobin, Mary Higgins Clark and Katherine Higgns Clark...I seem to really like murder, myster and suspence, lol

Another great book was "The Dirt" by Motley Crue. I started Tommy Land, but not finished it yet..

I enjoy Koontz too. Years ago I was a HUGE Stephen King fan, but I've let that go. I read a really great novel about elephants within the past year. It's called "The White Bone." I don't remember the author, but it was a wonderful story.

Right now I'm reading "California: An Interpretive History." I'm taking a history class this summer... and you know how summer courses stink! Sixteen weeks crammed into just FOUR weeks! I figure that if I read 20 pages per day I can read the book twice before the class starts in June. Hopefully that will give me a leg up on assignments, etc.

No FUN reads for a while.

I picked up a few books at a garage sale yesterday, a few Evanovichs and also picked up Seabiscuit. Why do I buy books??? I work in a Library!!

Oh well, at least they were only 15 cents each.

Seabiscuit. The horse Seabiscuit races in this book, Man o War was owned by Sam Riddle. He is the man who the place I work is named for. Riddle Village Retirement Community (my website Riddle Village Retirement Community) We are adjacent to Riddle Memorial Hospital. The grounds we are on were his pastures for his race horses, although I don't believe that Man o War actual ever lived here in good ol' Media Pennsylvania.

I just finished the latested Alex Cross novel called Cross. For the life of my I can't remember the author. I am anxiously awaiting July for the 7th and final Harry Potter book. I have it pre-ordered from Amazon and they guarantee I will have it the day it is released.

I buy some books and I love going to the library. My town has a very small library. But a town not far from my house has a much much larger library. My daughter loves to go too!
