Don't ask me why some pics are different sizes than others, I have no idea. I took a LOT cause I don't often get an opportunity to take decent pics. lol, although half these weren't even decent :P They all have either too much light or not enough. Half are blurred either because the camera was out of focus or the scorp was moving too much. I had to let the AZ crawl up my arm to get some half decent shots of him.

Awesome pics Matt. I love the first male emperor pic, makes him look tuff, lol. The African Flatrock looks like its time for a shave. What are some fo the substrates you are useing for them? Its time for me to redo my Emp. Scorp tank.

lol, yeah, I've never seen an emp as ornery as Sid The flatrocks are extra hairy to detect when they're getting too close to walls. They hide out in cracks between rocks, hence the name. I use peat moss for the emp, a peat/sand mix for the Centruroides, and sand for the flatrocks and deathstalker. The sand is really fine, I got it from a huge pile next to one of the buildings out here. It was being used for masonry type stuff or something. The peat you can get in the gardening section of a department store. I forget what brand I use, but its 100% peat mulch, no chemicals added.
