Re: Curly Hair T.

I got him on the 7th I put him in his new cage where I built a little burrow for him. I fed him 3 crickets around the 9th and then he started sealing himself inside the burrow. He's now completely sealed inside and he's been like that since the 12th. I can see inside of the borrow from the back side, cuz when I made it I pushed it up against the glass. He looks like he's lost color so I think he gonna molt. I was just wondering if that kind of behavior his normal and how long does it usually take to molt?

Re: Curly Hair T.

Yeah that is normal. They will web up their tank. Mine did the same thing shortly thereafter, but didn't molt right away. You can tell when they are going to molt cause they will lay a silk bed and then roll over on their back. I would watch him for a day or two. Mist like normal if you do. Drop in one cricket to see if he eats it. If he flips I would not feed. Even after a molt I would not feed him due to being in a new skin and still tender. Give him a few days for it to harden up.
