Re: My New Scorp
Hmmm how would you treat a scorpion for mites?
I would think that anything that would kill the mites would also kill the scorpion!

Re: My New Scorp
I guess put the scorp in a part bucket of water, then dismantle the tank & start over. But those petshop feeders will just keep carrying 'em! Sorta Catch 22!

Re: My New Scorp
Thats one impressive scorp. Mites sure are a pain for insect keepers. Toss the substrate and Wash every thing well use a q-tip and some water to remove the mites if any for her and keep an eye out if they come back. Though they could also just be wood mites. Harmless but annoying.

Re: My New Scorp
If they are active, moving all over her, and white or light in color, they are good mites. if they are very dark, and congregate in clumps on her, they are bad. Not sure how to remove the bad ones, but Venomlist, arachnoboards, and scorpionforum should know. Googl'it to find the earl.
