and the site already says sand is bad for anoles but, it also says if your going to use sand for something to use artifial sand, usually natural washed and sifted sand is sugested as the safest for reptiles and artifial sand is more dangerous
also for the why is bad for anoles besides the impaction risks is that sand makes for a dry enviroment and anole need a humid one

oh, srry I keep thinking of things that might be helpful, under mulch as substrate you can add to avoid cedar and pine, and to choose something with large enough peices that the anole cant fit them in its mouth

Don't forget about a calcium supplement too. You've got some stuff on vitamin supps, but not calcium. With the vitamins, it may be helpful to add that a supp with an A-D-E ratio of about 100-10-1 is best, since not all the products out there are necessarily good ones. If possible, Beta Cerotene is better than vitamin A, cause they can extract the A from the Beta Cerotene, without the risk of an overdose of vitamin A, which can be dangerous.
