The calcium supplement should be pure calcium carbonate powder. If there's phosphorous or D3 added, I wouldn't use it. Especially if there's phosphorous added. D3 should be absorbed through UVB exposure, not orally. Some vitamin supplements will also contain calcium, but since they need calcium more often than the rest of the vitamins, make sure there's no calcium in the vit/min supplement

No pics here but having a good substrate, water dish, and lots of plants and branches is about it as far as the habitat goes.

i don't think that using anything besides supplements made for herps is a good idea. There is no telling what all is in that tums and it's just as easy to get a little cup of calcium powder.

Many people have been using crushed tums as a calcium supplement for years. Particularly with iguanas.

The antacids is the calcium. Calcium is a base which counteracts an acid.

just sayin, i wouldn't use any store-bought human-made tums on my herps. They have all sorts of additives in them now, like i'd be afraid I would get the wrong kind and end up with my beardy dead.....but smelling MINTY FRESH! lol
