    Introducing a Male

I think in the next couple weeks we'll be getting a male anole to live with our two females. It will have to be a bahama brown because that's all the petstore has here. My question is: should he be bigger/smaller than my female bahama brown or about the same size? I'm not really worried about him bullying the females... they have PLENTY of space if they want to ignore him.

You want to go with about the same size. And be sure and quarantine.

    Re: Introducing a Male

I always go for at least 30 days. Anoles are usually wild caught and you never know what bugs they might be carrying, and what bugs they might give to your girls.
Putting in his own cage with a complete set up for a month would give you time to observe any illnesses that might manifest with the stress of the move and such.
It's just an insurance policy for all of your pets.
