if she is really sick, she will be easy to handle. Just have a firm grip.

Make sure you have a firm (but gentle!) hold on her, i havent held my brown anoles since I switched their tank to a vivarium, they will leap from your hand to the floor before you realize they moved

Yeah thats what I am afraid of - I lost her the first time I clean the cage - it was a miracle that I got her back!!

OK I did it- she tried to get away but gave up quickly- weezing- not sure- I heard a little pop or crackling sound once or twice...she smells a little funny - no nose discharge but something a little white and dry looking by one ear - she has rehydrated a bit but I see that she looks puffier around the lung / chest area - I took some picture but they are hard to see.

pop/crackle to me sounds like upper respitory. I'd take her in. Do you have a herp specified vet?

ok- I did make an appointment with a herp today for late Wednesday- the shop where I get the crickets suggested this guy - She has been looking so much better as the day went on- looks hydrated and green and is up on her sunning spot - still am noticing she looks puffy / swollen behind her armpits - like on her lungs- could this also be related to the respitory infection?

if it IS a respitory infection, then yes. I'm not a vet. I can't make the call, but its good you are getting her checked out.

The herp called in sick this morning and I can't find another one to see her today...uggg!!! and I have to leave town in the morning- I hope she makes it- she looks 100% better today - green and sunning at the top of the plant- I will let you know on Tuesday when I get back how its going- thanks again for your support- I was really scared yesterday!

ugh! talk about horrible luck!!! the one day you get an appt and the doc is out! man oh man. What happened? was she OK?
