Re: Another Question

I probably would not suggest that, especially if the male is of breeding age not to mention the size difference.

Re: Another Question

no (but its up to you) When you put a lizard (like an anole) in its home then introduce a new one the first lizard could feel that the second one in moving in on its home, taking its food, sitting in all the best spots. It could attack or kill the new lizard. If you still want to do this take your old anole out remove all the substrate and fixtures. Put new sub. in move your fixtures around or get new ones. Only buy an anole that is female and is the same size. You better know for sure that she is a she or you are in for a lot of problems. By doing all this you are taking your anoles claim away from his home and introducing a new home to both at once. As for your tank question no more than 4 anoles in a 50-55 gal. tank. One male the rest female. Or all females. Also more plants for hiding spots. remember your anoles will grow. Also if you have a male with females you can get babies. If you don't want little ones take the eggs and freeze them and then thow them away.
