ok I just saw a blue anole and I was wondering is there anyway to get them as pets and if so what type of set up do they require and how much do they cost.

Ok, short answer. Nope

since a blue anole is Critically endangered you wont get a WC one, imports from that area were probably banned long ago. Chances of a CB one is slim unless someone has them and has been successful with them. I highly doubt that they would be a cheap animal too.

Its a scientific name. Ill have to get it and getback to you on it. the one that was in the news not so long ago is the only fully blue lizard in the world. Also almost exticnt. have pics of it?

I think Nate is looking for the specific anole that you are talking about....not just a blue anole. He wants to see the one belonging to the guy you know, to see if it is indeed a blue anole.

That is an Anolis gorgonae. They are close to be exticnt. So import and export of them is illegal. Im not sure if there are any captive born ones or even captive ones. World's only pure blue lizard at risk of extinction
