i just bought my first Anole Thursday(10/3/07) and i was wondering if anyone could help me figure out if it is a male or female, also take a look at my terrarium and tell me what you think.

Looks like a male anole to me...they usually have a larger head....I would have to see more pics though....

Looks like your bedding could probably stand to be a little more moist, tell us about your terrarium and how it's set up!

ok it is a 10 gallon aquarium with a piece of drift wood, in the right hand corner with a plastic plant put through it, also on the left is a plastic plant suction cupped to the glass, and a turtle hut in the center, and a stick going from the top left corner to the bottom right corner also the bedding is eco earth
what is your humidity at? how about temp?

i keep the temp during the day around 78 to 84 and around 70 - 80 at nightbut the humidity i dont no i am looking for a humidity gage but what should the humidity be.

Your anole would benefit greatly from a UV light (They need it if you expect him to live his entire life expectancy.). They are a basking species and are actually an iguanid.
The substrate you are using does need to be moistened more. Anoles do well with a humidity level of 70% or better.
godzuki777 - That looks nothing like a crested gecko. This is what a crested gecko looks like:

one last thing my anole has spent the last 10 hours upside down is their any need to be concerned about that.
