Re: My Anole

Looks like your bedding could probably stand to be a little more moist, tell us about your terrarium and how it's set up!

thanks for showing off the pics!

Re: My Anole

ok it is a 10 gallon aquarium with a piece of drift wood, in the right hand corner with a plastic plant put through it, also on the left is a plastic plant suction cupped to the glass, and a turtle hut in the center, and a stick going from the top left corner to the bottom right corner also the bedding is eco earth

Re: My Anole

Hello,

Your anole would benefit greatly from a UV light (They need it if you expect him to live his entire life expectancy.). They are a basking species and are actually an iguanid.

The substrate you are using does need to be moistened more. Anoles do well with a humidity level of 70% or better.

godzuki777 - That looks nothing like a crested gecko. This is what a crested gecko looks like:

Travis - That substrate is not suitable for a leopard gecko. Please read the caresheet I linked to in your leo thread.

Re: My Anole

one last thing my anole has spent the last 10 hours upside down is their any need to be concerned about that.
