Froglet needs ID

While buying feeder guppies at a pet store about 2 months ago, I ended up getting a lucky scoop that had 3 tadpoles in it. I put them in with my paddle tail newts but the next day only one was left. I separated him and he has been slowly morphing ever since. Today he started poking his head out of the water, now breathing through lungs rather than gills. His tail went away virtually over night and he is looking like a frog now. Now I have to figure out what kind of frog he may be. For all you herp detectives out there here is a pic.

There are two light strips down the back that aren't visible in the pic. I have to find out what kind of frog he is so I can put him in the proper enviornment. If you have a good guess please post.

Its almost guaranteed he's a species of leopard frog. Its really hard to tell with just that pic though, and at that size.

Thanks. I think I might have him. The web site I found had several different species of the leopard frog and that populations found within Florida have been given their own subspecies classification as the Florida Leopard Frog, Rana sphenocephala utricularia, shown here.

This looks a lot like him. Time will tell. I had no idea how long it took for these things to grow

Updated photo of Leopard frog

I just wanted to post an updated picture of the frog. The very next day after the first photo was shot, the tail was fully absorbed. He seems to be developing brighter colors now. I have to look at some pics again to make sure what kind of leopard frog he is.
