Rescue II
Hi,
just to share with you guys one of the successful rescue I have done some time ago. this is a common greenback frog, relatively common in wet areas of many parts of asian countries. they are extremely fast and intelligent. i would say they are faster than white tree frogs or the four line tree frogs (a few which I kept before) It was the same situation as the white that I rescued, enclosed in an extemely small container, slighter bigger than itself. the worse part was that the frog already had a bacterial infection on its back. i pitied the fellow and quickly bought him home (much to the pleasure of the fat shop owner) I set up an simple vivarium for him which was more of the wet type, the creepers I used eventually will cover the entire tank, much to the pleasure of the froggie. after half a year of captivity, i brought him to one of the water catchment area(primary forest) and released him back to the wild. cheers |
