New Woggies!

When I was a kid I raised 5 tadpoles in a fish bowl in the living room. My how things have changed, yesterday I set up a 10gallon aquarium/vivarium in my livingroom. My brother inlaw gave my son 2 bullfrog tadpoles!

Re: New Woggies!

Congrats on the tadpoles. Are you planning on keeping them or setting them free?

Re: New Woggies!

It depends I know that Bull frogs can be kinda flighty as they get older. I have a variety of tanks now from 10 to 50 gallon, so I have the means to keep them. I heard of a guy keeping frogs to rub mice on for reluctant Garter snakes, this is a problem that I have. Somehow I doubt the frogs would be very happy about that though! Lol In the mean time my 4yr old and 1yr old really enjoy watching them.

Re: New Woggies!

You should have no problem feeding them. Most bullfrogs have very good appetites. They are usually very good eaters. Crickets, worms and the occasional mouse is what the staples should be.

They will need that 55 gallon tank of yours though.
