They need lots of space and oxygen, and clean water so make sure you have a water filter.

Be careful with the filter, make sure its not something that can pull the tadpoles in. They sell little tadpole bits that you can feed them. They need a way out of the water eventually, but do not put something too big in, they can drown under it quite easily. Basically, tadpoles die very easy, so simple is better. I do not know what the water temp should be for leopard frogs, but I would assume that water the local water temp is at should be fine if you can match it.

I love grey tree frogs! Those were the tadpoles that I raised. I had about 30 tadpoles and was able to get six frogs out of it. They are awesome frogs. I kept mine in a high tank with running water and filtration for him to swim in.

Ok, I did ALOT of reaserch and came up with a southern leaped frog, so I'm choosing the healthiest, puting him in his own big pickle jar and naming him pickles.

pickle jar isn't really going to do it. I would suggest at least a 5 gallon tank with a filter. If no filter than daily water changes with conditioned water.

You can toss in frozen (thawed) or fresh peas.
