pics of the new family member simon
african fat tail. home from the pet store for 5 days. would barely eat in the store. one said he wasnt eating anything, another said he would eat a few meal worms... we couldnt get him to touch meal worms... i read in a forum somewhere to try baby food. we tried putting a little banana babyfood on his nose, and in 2 days he is eating crickets ( 2 of em, 2 days in a row) hopefully we are all in the clear.

Welcome to HerpCenter!
I am curious as to what you have in the bottom of the tank for a substrate? Some is dark and some is white.

i am using peat moss on the left the light dries it out a bit to make it look lighter, on the right is a piece of slate with some rocks piled around mali girl thanks |

well we witnessed the little guy eating crikets, the other times he ate them after we went to bed... this time he chased them down as soon as we put him back in the cage...it is the coolest thing ever... tonight I am going to see if I can catch it on video..lol if I can I will post it on youtube or something...lol
