I helped rescue a male Iggy about 18 months ago. He was neglected and could barely walk. He was housed in a very small fish tank. He is about 5 Ft. long. He is tame and a good eater. I have been very unsuccessful in placing him and am having a hard time caring for him. He is very special to us but with our living arragements and plenty of others I need to care for I just can't do it anymore. The place that asked me to foster him was supposed to help place him. That didn't happen. I have called many rescues and even every zoo I could think of, nothing worked. If you have room for him, I am sure he would love to come. He has a handmade sturdy 7 foot by 3 foot pen. I would only ask that you would pick him up. I have no way of transporting him. He is now in Union County New Jersey.
