Emergency! Need To Adopt Out An Iguana Immediately!
I have searched HIGH and LOW, and I cannot find ANYONE who can adopt my iguana! I rescued him from a really, really bad home, but we have to move LONG DISTANCE and it is too cold to take him! We are having to move rather SUDDENLY, as in, within the next two days (only found out we were moving yesterday) and there is NO WAY he can survive going with us! I have tried to find someone that I can surrender him to but a lot of the agencies require a surrenders fee, and WE CANNOT AFFORD IT... we're barely going to be able to get to where we're going as is..
He is about four foot long (maybe).. he is highly aggressive because of his previous home.. but he LOVES to be hand fed green leaf tops (like turnip greens).. and he has it in him to be friendly, I have been working with him but he HATES men.
If anyone has any suggestions, I am all ears. Thanks!
