My cornsnake died several years ago and I have been thinking about getting a new snake... I would very much like a red-tail boa.

I could just go to the pet store and buy one, but really, both my cats are adopted and if there is a snake out there that needs a good home, I'd be happy to give it one. There are no reptile rescues here, but that doesn't mean there aren't reptiles that need rescuing.

Willing to drive a few states or pay for shipping. Plenty prepared to take good care of large snake, love handling them, roommate and boyfriend also excited to meet a new member of the family. My friend builds those giant PVC enclosures... he's gonna set me up with the perfect home for a red-tail, already have a spot picked out for it.
