Adoptions and Rescues accepted

We here at Wilderness acres snake Ranch do have lots of room for any reptile or other pet that needs a home. Any reptile or pet taken in under rescue will not be sold or traded! We may try to find a home for the reptile or animal but there will be no adoption fees charged. Maybe a shipping fee and only the actual cost of shipping will be charged, In some cases we will pay the shipping fee just to get the rescued animal a good home. The only thing we charge for here is our sales of baby cornsnakes that we raise. I will on the 17th of this month post pics of my place and the animal tanks and cages so if anyone is wondering will there givin up pet have a good home will be able to see that our care is number 1. Im not here to make any money only to find good homes for our rescues and if we cant do that we will keep them ourselfs. Right at present I have a rescued Leopard gecko male that is blind and I will not adopt him out as it would be a personal strain on some one to have to hand feed him daily but I have gotten attached to him and would definately miss him if he left. I am 56 years old and disabled so this endeavor is my life and its what keeps me going and gives me such pleasure to be there for a pet that needs a home. We will also accept any special needs pets. I have a retired veterinarian who just lives a few miles away and has offered his services for free because of the work that I try to do here. I am sorry for such a long post but I felt I needed to put all my cards on the table. Thanks Jimi

That's awesome that you have a vet that can help out. I know it's usually a huge expense to most shelters and probably the main reason many of them have to shut down. Give your vet friend a pat on the back for me. Keep up the good work.

I need to be able to PM you if possible, I think I'm going to have to give up my green iguana to someone that can take care of him properly. Or just email me if you need info, it should all be in my profile.

Wow. That's admirable. I hope everything goes well for you. Please keep us updated on the goings on there. I bet you'll have dozens of really good stories for us.
