Help!! Moving And Need Good Home 4 My Ig
I have to move and must part with my iguana(s). I have 2, one male and 1
female. I shouldadopt both out, I am going to the mountains, small house. I also am a single mom, work 2 kids and go to law school. These iguanas were given (I adopted them for fear of what would happen to them) to me by a girl I used to work with. They were hatchlings. I have all necessary equipment if needed. HURRY!! I AM LOADING THE TRUCK TOMORROW AND PULLING OUT WEDNESDAY MORNING!!!!!!sheshi16@aol.com shelli |

Why are you only giving 2 days notice? You must have known a while back that you were moving.
I hope you are able to find a good knowledgable home for them. |

2 days notice
Honestly, the owners are selling are house and we were trying to get them to let us stay longer. At any rate, I'm sure you don't want to hear the yadayadayada, in a nutshell, I really don't want to part with them but think it would be best at this point. Believe me, I've put too much love and devotion into my igs to just let them go to anyone. That is why I put a posting on here, thinking I would have some GOOD response instead of being chastised like a child.
SO, if there are any good, knowledgable people out there in SO. Ca that would like to adopt either one of my igs, please let me know. sheshi16@aol.com *please pm for phone #* shelli |

Shelli,
I don't think they were trying to chastize. Just saying it takes awhile to get reptiles adopted - often months and months. No one is judging you it was just a curiosity question. Good luck! |

Thanks chefthomasr. The Iguana we just adopted to Dawg on this site had been in the rescue for 15 months. We turn away most of the applicants for Igs but on average, Igs are here for about 9 months before a perfect home is found.
