For those who have followed my previous post, I have found myself with this wonderful little critter, but I'm just not in the position to start another sizable habitat. When he was brought to me, the owners didn't know what he was, and he was housed on crushed walnut with a heat rock. The heat rock has been ditched, the bedding changed to Bed-a-Beast, and he has a nice bowl for soaking in. He's fine for the time being, is eating much better now and is quite active, but really needs a home where he can be appreciated - not merely maintained. He needs a larger enclosure than the 10 gallon tank he arrived in, and proper lighting. Anyone care to give this little guy a home? I'm located in central NY.

Try finding a rescue to take him, or you can put him up for adoption on petfinder.com.

I know nothing about Japalura Splendidas what can you tell me about the care they need other than more space? If it is something that I can incorporate into what I already have then I might be able to help you out...

I would offer to help if I wasn't on the other end of the country (west coast)
